You’ve heard the story about the cobbler’s kids who went without shoes, right?
It’s funny, because even though I tell my clients to “make marketing your top priority, EVER DAY” I haven’t done that for myself.
It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day routine of working with clients and delivering on my end of the work, that doing my own marketing gets pushed to the way side.
So here’s my commitment to my business and to all the coaches out there who need my help:
I will actively spend time marketing my business EVERY DAY.
Marketing will be the #1 priority every morning.
I won’t answer emails, I won’t schedule phone calls.
Marketing my business is my top priority.
Whew… that felt GOOD!
So good, in fact, that if you’re a coach or consultant and you’ve experienced the “roller coaster” ride of lots of business followed by a dry spell, up and down, up and down, then I want you to make the commitment with me.

WHAT MARKETING CAN YOU DO EVERY DAY?
Here is just a short list of the things you can do, every day, to market and grow your coaching practice.
- Write a new blog post
- Write an article and post it online
- Record a video and upload it to YouTube
- Answer comments on your blog
- Post comments on other people’s blogs
- Call up one past client and ask for a referral
MARKETING DOESN’T HAVE TO BE COMPLICATED!
In fact, it should be easy and fun.
It doesn’t have to be sleazy either. Education-based marketing is GOOD for your potential clients because they get something they can use right away AND they learn about how they can get more from you.
So make the commitment with me and let’s make marketing a priority.
