My Time With Simon by Paul Keetch is a real gem of a novel that surprised me in the best way possible. It's the kind of book that makes you think about who you are and how your life is shaped by the people around you.
You get to see Simon through different characters' eyes and it makes you reflect on your own life in a new way. The writing is easy to get into, and the shift between perspectives keeps things interesting. It's not a long read but it packs a lot of emotion and introspection into that space.
If you enjoy stories that make you think, or if you've ever read Way of the Peaceful Warrior, this one will definitely grab you.
It's thoughtful, engaging, and at the same time, tells a heartfelt love story that feels genuine. Definitely worth five stars!

Paul Keetch was born and raised in rural Ontario, north of Toronto. He now resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
This is his first novel.
